Apartment Complex Driveway 2014

Badly damaged driveway was cracked and shifting vertically and horizontally.

Demolished 6000+ square feet of cracked concrete driveway in an apartment complex of five units in Costa Mesa, CA. Professionally excavated to 12 inches of sub grade. Hauled away and disposed the concrete and excess dirt. Laid down geotextile underlay to isolate the clay soil and prevent weed growth. Created 8 inches of compacted misc. base (!) and 1 inch masonry sand overlay. Developed ¼ inch slope per linear foot for proper water drainage. Installed custom ordered pavers laid out in an "i" pattern. Extended existing curb by installing 90 feet of raised curb to the end of the property.

Fixed unexpected issues that naturally happen with such a big project.

The tenants of the apartment complex are thrilled with the high end look of their new driveway. We have also received many compliments from our neighbors.
